Cued Speech Software

Research supports achievement of literacy (reading and writing) when there is knowledge of the phonetics of the language. Cued Speech provides a visual access to the sounds of spoken language for deaf individuals, and thus supports success in literacy. Two CD-ROMS -- Cue that Word! and I Can Cue 2 -- provide invaluable practice in the mechanics of receptive and expressive cueing skills. They are designed for older children and adults who have had an introductory workshop in the Cued Speech System. All programs provide valuable, repetitive practice and offer extensive interactive help.
