Build skills in spelling and vocabulary with over 475 words and pictures. Use the spelling lists provided or make your own with the spelling editor. For persons who use Cued Speech, cues are available for each picture, and can be added for new words. However, use of Cued Speech is not required to use the program.

I can spell! Menu

Choose a spelling list and see a preview of the words and matching pictures. You can also load a list you made. Then select a game to practice the words or test yourself.

In learning mode, you can briefly view the word you're trying to spell. In the self-test game, you must spell the word with no help.

Word Speller Game
In this game you are shown how many letters are needed, but not what they are. In learning mode, you can briefly view the word you're trying to spell. In the self-test game, you spell the word without help.

Several options are available to set the game to your own preferences.

You can turn cues on or off, set the speed of cueing, and set the duration for viewing a word in the "show word" help.

Use the I can spell! Spells Editor program to create your own lists for the I can spell! games.

Create a personal spelling list	You can move words to your list from the picture library of over 475 words, or type in your own words.
Add cues (optional)	If desired, you can add cues for Cued Speech for the words on your list. This is helpful for cuers and also for those with speech-reading skills. The screen shows how to type the words "funetikly" for cueing.
View the Picture Library	View the pictures in the library. You can select one of the groups of words or view the entire list. You can also choose whether to see the word cued in Cued Speech or not.
